The Hyundai Elantra has been a staple in South Korea’s automaker’s lineup for more than 30 years, and for good reason. With its high fuel economy, impressive technology, safety features, and roomy cabin, the Elantra definitely stands out from the rest. What’s more, the impressive vehicle features multiple powertrain choices, a beautifully sculpted interior, and a gold-plated powertrain warranty. The new 2023 Hyundai Elantra isn’t much different from its predecessor, except it doesn’t have the 6-speed manual transmission for the N Line.

This year, Hyundai has retained the same grade lineup, including the SE, SEL, N Line, and Limited.

The New 2023 Hyundai Elantra

When it comes to interior features, the new Hyundai Elantra should carry over from last year with plenty of cargo space and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Normally, a Hyundai Elantra that’s fully equipped features heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, faux-leather or real leather seat trim, and an 8-speaker Bose audio system. So, the 2023 Elantra should come fully loaded with all those features. The fuel economy of the 2023 Elantra is also impressive boasting an EPA-estimated 35-37 mpg in combined city/highway driving.

What’s more, the vehicle has a very high safety rating, equipped with features like:

  • Forward collision warning: In every new Elantra sedan, it’s quite standard to see forward collision warning and includes automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
  • Safe exit assist: Like blind spot monitoring across the 2023 Elantra range, safe exit assist is a standard feature. It alerts the driver of any hazards that might be approaching from either side as they’re preparing to leave the vehicle.
  • Highway driving assists: Highway driving assist keeps the car centered in the lane, which eases the driver’s workload. Only the Limited trim has this feature.
